Nawanshahr- Keeping in mind the martyrdom fortnight being celebrated related to the family of Dasam Pita Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji in PM Government Senior Secondary School Langroa, tribute was paid to the martyrdom of four Sahibzadas and Mata Gujjar Kaur in the morning assembly today.
On this occasion, children recited religious songs, poems, compositions related to the martyrdom of four Sahibzadas and Mata Gujjar Kaur, besides painting competitions were organized. On this occasion, a quiz competition was organized and children were asked questions related to Gur history. The head of the institution, Dr. Surinder Pal Agnihotri, informed the children about the history of the sacrifice made by the family of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and the martyrdom of Sahibzadas was saluted with respect.
On this occasion, the teachers of the school presented their views related to martyrdom and the staff and children remembered Moti Ram Mehra by organizing a milk langar. Apart from the school Principal Dr. Surinder Pal Agnihotri and his entire staff, SMC Chairman Master Manohar Singh was present in the morning meeting.
