Mohali 8 August - On Hariyali Teej, the managers of Shri Sanatan Dharma Mandir Sabha Shiv Mandir Committee located in Phase-9, for the first time, organized a grand Hariyali Teej program with the support of the committee, in which local women participated in large numbers. During the program, women of almost all age groups danced and had a blast on the tunes of DJ in their own way and groups, but the folk songs presented by the senior women on Hariyali Teej were highly appreciated and the senior women refreshed the memory of how to keep the tradition alive and how to preserve its culture on the occasion of Teej. On this occasion, former women councilor Smt. Prakashvati, Mahila Mandal President Shakuntala Setia, General Secretary Anchal Sharma, General Secretary Santosh Kumari, Treasurer Devi Sharma, besides temple committee officials Chairman Ramesh Verma, Pradhan Sanjeev Kumar, General Secretary Arvind Thakur, Vice Chairman SC Setia and other dignitaries were present. During this, at the end of the program, women who gave good performances were felicitated and refreshments were also provided to all by the temple committee. The officials of the temple committee told that the temple committee has organized the Teej program for the first time. They said that the program was organized with the help of the temple's Mahila Sankirtan Committee and other members and it was quite successful. They said that such programs will continue to be organized in the future to uplift Sanatan and keep our culture alive.
