Chandigarh, December 17: A blood donation camp was organized today at Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 37D. This camp was organized by the NSS unit of the school on the second day of the 7-day NSS camp being conducted in the school. 
The blood donation camp was inaugurated by Dr. Nemi Chand (SLO). On this occasion, he said that donating blood is the greatest service to humanity, because by donating blood many precious lives can be saved.
He said that donating blood does not bring any kind of weakness, but it gives a satisfaction to the mind that by donating it, we have given life to a needy person.
The principal of the school, Mrs. Asha Rani, said that a large number of volunteers donated blood during the camp, during which the school staff members and parents of the students also participated. The entire staff was present on this occasion.
