Chandigarh 01.12.24 Today, Sector 46 B Seva Kendra organized a seminar for the social service organizations of Chandigarh in which representatives of about 20 organizations including Lions Club participated. On this occasion, Additional Director of Punjab Education Board, Mr. Rajiv was the chief guest. The seminar started with a welcome dance by the children. The topic of the seminar was "Restoration of a good society through value based service".
On this occasion, Sector 46 B in-charge BK Poonam said that service is that which is done for the society with body, mind and money. It is important to reflect on what we are doing for the happiness of the society, world transformation through self transformation is the motto of Brahma Kumaris. Today, there is a decline in the society due to the decline in moral values. During this, all the representatives from the field of social service were introduced to the organization through PPT and were made aware of the services being done by 21 wings of Brahma Kumaris in the country and abroad.
All social service organizations were called upon to get the contribution of the service center near Brahma Kumaris in Chandigarh for the services being done by them in the society.
At present, the organization is sharing the culture of India with the world so that the environment can be purified by the attitude equipped with qualities and the world is established. For this purpose, social workers will have to serve through sacrifice and penance. Sharing the experience with everyone, Baltana Service Center In-charge BK Suman shared the information of the social service conference held in Gangtok, presented the example of the presence of the CM of Assam for a long time in the direction of self-transformation.
After making everyone experience yoga practice, the chief guest expressed his views and said that the feeling of service is in the DNA of India, the feeling of giving reality. BK Prabha told that Brother Aamir Chand Bhai Ji of Punjab Zone wanted that there should be a program for social service organizations in the service centers of Chandigarh, which has started today from Sector 46 Service Center and it is hoped that the service organizations present will progress in this by working together with Brahma Kumaris Service Centers.
