New Delhi, June 21- Air ticket prices have increased sharply after the Ahmedabad air crash. Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council Chairperson Jyoti Mayal said that according to reports, about 41 percent of tickets have been canceled.

A travel agent said that a ticket that cost a little over Rs 6,000 before the accident is now being sold for about Rs 34,000. Mayal said that the rate of ticket cancellation has increased significantly after the Ahmedabad air crash.
Speaking to ANI, she said that she did not want to name any airline but some airlines have increased their ticket prices. However, similar trends were seen recently regarding Jammu and Kashmir.
