Patiala, November 21 - Punjab Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education and Research Minister Dr Balbir Singh today resolved the problems of a large number of people gathered in Ward No. 21, 16, 14 on the spot in a public facility camp organized under 'Aap Di Sarkar Aap De Dwar'. He said that just as he used to go door to door during elections, in the same way he will go among the people now also and solve their problems.
Dr Balbir Singh also said that the previous government had left the work of roads and pipes incomplete and the roads were in bad condition. Those incomplete works are now being completed rapidly. The Health Minister heard the problems of the people of Factory Area, Ekta Nagar, Ghuman Nagar and Abchal Nagar.
The people requested for construction of a paved road in the area, on which the Cabinet Minister ordered the concerned officials to get the road repaired on the spot. Corporation Commissioner Dr. Rajat Oberoi, Joint Commissioner Deepjot Kaur, Civil Surgeon Dr. Jitinder Kansal and SMO Dr. Monika along with other department officials were also present with him.
Dr. Balbir Singh said that the present Punjab government is solving the problems of the people on priority basis.
He took stock of drinking water from the people. In areas where drinking water is not clean or there is water shortage, orders were given to install big motors instead of small motors so that clean drinking water reaches the people and people remain healthy.
On this occasion, office in-charge Jasbir Singh Gandhi, AAP state general secretary Jagdeep Jagga, block president Om Prakash Sharma, moderator Jaswant Saini and moderator Gurkripal were also present.
