Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar November 18: In order to expedite the development works of Mohali city, improve the main roads and ensure cleanliness, MLA Kulwant Singh today inspected the main roads of Mohali city. During the inspection, he visited Mohali Airport Road, Kumbra Light Point, Sector 71-Phase 7 Light Point, 3-5 Light Point and Phase 5. During this visit, Municipal Commissioner T-Benith and Chief Engineer of the Municipal Corporation Naresh Batta and other officials were present with him.

The MLA held a meeting on the spot and issued necessary instructions. The officers were instructed to expedite the development works and not to compromise on the quality of the development works. The officers were instructed to ensure cleanliness, repair the pavement paver tiles, fix the sewerage main holes, repair and moderate the divider railings. MLA Kulwant Singh and Municipal Commissioner T-Benith instructed the officers to regularly remove the horticultural waste from the parks and green belts.

The MLA said that projects worth crores of rupees are going on in the constituency. He instructed the concerned officers to resolve the complaints of the people as soon as possible. The MLA and the Municipal Commissioner instructed the officers to go to the field and do daily checking to expedite the development works and ensure cleanliness in the constituency.
