Hoshiarpur - The Chief Commissioner Gurudwara Elections has extended the registration of voters for the Shiromani Gurudwara Management Committee (Board) elections till December 15, 2024. After which, apart from preparing the voter lists on December 16, 2024, the voter lists will be given for preliminary publication at the designated centers on January 2, 2025.
Giving information in this regard, Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer Komal Mittal said that eligible persons can get their registration done by the stipulated date. He said that as per the schedule issued by the Chief Commissioner Gurdwara Elections, the preliminary voter list will be published by the Deputy Commissioner on January 3, 2025.
He said that the last date for receiving claims and objections will be January 24, 2025, which will be disposed of by February 5, 2025. Similarly, the preparation of supplementary voter lists and printing of supplementary lists will take place on February 24, 2025 and the final publication will take place on February 25, 2025.
