Maud Mandi: - Like every year, this year also Nagar Kirtan was organized with great reverence and emotion under the umbrella of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji dedicated to the Prakashotsav of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and with the cooperation of the city residents. Which was led by five Pyaras. Nagar Kirtan was beautifully decorated with flowers.
Nagar Kirtan started from Gurdwara Diwan Sahib and reached Gurdwara Sahib Patshahi Nauvin Shri Guru Teg Bahadur of Maud Kalan via Bohar Wala Chowk, Main Bazaar, Thana Road, Hospital Bazaar, Factory Road, Truck Union. While welcoming the Nagar Kirtan, the devotees showered flowers. Langars of tea, water and fruits were arranged for the devotees.
Devotees bowed their heads after reaching Gurdwara Patshahi Nauvin Maud Kalan. In the evening, Nagar Kirtan ended by reaching Gurdwara Diwan Sahib. Thousands of children, elderly, youth, mothers, sisters participated in the Nagar Kirtan.
