Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic College and Hospital organized medical camps at many places

Mandi Gobindgarh, November 13 - Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic College and Hospital organized a five-day medical camp; school health check-up; awareness talks and other activities to increase the acceptance of Ayurveda in every field. These activities were conducted by a team of specialized consultants in Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic Hospital and nearby villages, schools and mosques. Dr. Prachi Sharma (Pediatrician), Dr. Sanamika (Ear and Eye Specialist), Dr. Eshu and Dr. Jaspreet (Physiotherapists), Dr. Anil Joshi (Lifestyle Disorder Coach), Dr. Poonam (Surgeon), Dr. Darshana (Medical Specialist), Dr. Surinder (Acupuncture Specialist) and Medical Officer.

This awareness health check-up camp was organized under the leadership of Dr. Kulbhushan (Director DBAC&H), Dr. Smita Johar (Principal), Dr. Jyoti H Dhami (Medical Superintendent). During the camp, discussions were held on general health checkup, eye/ENT checkup, general health awareness of children at Desh Bhagat Global School and Nankana Sahib Public School Badali. General checkup of MGNREGA workers regarding joint diseases was done in village Annia. Doctors made awareness about health in the mosque of village Sounti.
On this occasion, Dr. Zora Singh Chancellor said that Desh Bhagat University, being a social service organization, has taken an initiative by conducting health awareness activities, lectures and free medical checkup of school students. The main objective of the activities was to ensure that people can get health facilities at the right time and consult a doctor before a minor health problem becomes serious.
He congratulated the team for this wonderful initiative and promised to extend his full support to continue such awareness camps in the future as well.
