
40 Aam Aadmi Clinics in Mohali district are providing best health services at local level

In this episode, 40 Aam Aadmi Clinics are operating in urban and rural areas of Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar district. So far 1403442 patients have got treatment from these Aam Aadmi Clinics.
Acting Civil Surgeon Dr. Renu Singh, while giving the above information, said that 38 diagnostic tests of patients are done free of cost in these clinics, under which lab tests of 2,98,623 patients have been done so far. Apart from free treatment, free medicines are also given in these clinics. Every clinic is modern. T. equipped with infrastructure.
He said that the Punjab Government has made an effort to provide health facilities to the common people near their homes through Mohalla Clinics. The main objective of the Punjab Government is to strengthen education and health facilities.
Patients undergoing treatment at Aam Aadmi Clinic said that the Punjab government has made a great effort by starting Aam Aadmi Clinic. He said that 80 percent of the medicines are available in Aam Aadmi Clinic. According to the protocol, first the patient registers and then gets a checkup from the doctor. After this, the doctor prescribes medicines to them and later the patients take medicines from Aam Aadmi Clinic, which has brought relief to the common people. Free checkups are done in Aam Aadmi Clinic by the government.
After the start of Aam Aadmi Clinic in the state, the burden on civil hospitals has also reduced. These clinics have proved to be a boon especially for patients requiring OPD services, who were not availing government health services till now due to fear of standing in long queues. They are relying on Aam Aadmi Clinics instead of private hospitals.
Common people say that all kinds of medicines are available here for common diseases and the doctors in the clinic are also very good. He said that the Bhagwant Mann government has given great facilities to the common people in the form of Mohalla Clinics because poor people cannot get their treatment done in expensive hospitals. Most of the patients in these clinics suffer from cold, cough, fever, BP, diabetes, skin related and other diseases.
