The journey from an average student to IAS-

He started his career in a call centre, then worked in a government undertaking. One day a senior IAS officer visited the office. Seeing that welcome, he developed a deep interest in civil services and then he decided that this would be his destination.
Jatin Lal told how he spent his lunch breaks, metro travel and every spare moment in studying. He kept distance from social media and unnecessary activities. He got full support from his parents and wife. He took leave from his job and finally resigned and made preparation his priority.
He told that not being able to give enough time to his family during preparation was the biggest test for him. At that time, he had decided in his mind that the day he becomes an IAS, along with contributing to the construction of society, he will give his parents and wife every happiness that they deserve. The fruit of his hard work and discipline was his selection in the Indian Administrative Service of the 2016 batch.

Patience, perseverance and continuity along with hard work are the real keys to success-
The Deputy Commissioner explained to the students that success is not served on a platter. Patience, perseverance and consistency are the real keys. A person either wins or learns.
