Chandigarh, November 4 - The Forest Employees Union Punjab will organize a protest rally in Barnala on November 6 during the general elections. This decision has been taken during an online meeting led by the organization's state president Amrik Singh Gadhankar, general secretary Jasvir Singh Sira and president Virsa Singh Chahal.

Senior Vice Presidents of the organization Jaswinder Sauja, Ravi Kumar Ropar, Ranjit Gurdaspur and Amandeep Chhatbir said that meetings have been held with Forest Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak and Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema regarding the demands of the employees working on daily wages in the Forest and Wildlife Protection Department for 25 years.
The ministers assured to resolve the demands soon, but no solution has been found yet. Due to this, the organization has decided to hold an online meeting on October 31 and a protest rally in Barnala on November 6.
