SAS Nagar, April 14- The festival of Baisakhi was celebrated at Nanhe Manke Play Way and Foundation School and Paragon Senior Secondary School, Sector 69, Mohali. The program started with welcoming the children by playing dhol. On this occasion, the children performed dance on Punjabi folk songs. Many children presented poems related to the festival of Vaisakhi.
On this occasion, a film related to the festival of Vaisakhi was also shown to the young children so that they could understand the importance of Vaisakhi in Sikh history. School Director Sardar Mohanbir Singh Shergill gave information about the importance of Baisakhi.
