Nawanshahr - As per the directions of Commissioner Food Punjab Dr. Abhinav Trikha and Deputy Commissioner Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Rajesh Dhiman, the Food Safety Team of District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, under the leadership of Assistant Food Commissioner Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Harpreet Kaur, inspected various sweet shops of the city.
During the two-day checking campaign, the team checked the quantity and quality of sweets. During this campaign, samples of 9 sweet shops were collected and sent to the state laboratory for testing. Notices were issued to shopkeepers who did not pay special attention to the cleanliness of sweets.
During this, all shopkeepers were appealed to take special care of cleanliness and quality of sweets during the festive season.
