Rural Youth Clubs will be given assistance by the Department of Youth Services - Ravi Pal

Nawanshahr - Social work done by the Youth Services Department of the Government of Punjab from its affiliated clubs during the last 2 years in their villages/wards, activities to keep the youth away from drugs and social ills, activities to encourage the youth towards sports and other adventures.

Applications have been sought from district Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar till November 7, 2024 for grant-in-aid to them on the basis of activities. Sharing information in this regard, Ravi Pal, Assistant Director Youth Services, said that the Youth Services Club prepared a file with their applications along with photos of activities, newspaper cuttings and other certificates and sent them to the office of the Assistant Director Youth Services, near Govt.I. TI (Girls) can deposit at Nawanshahr till the specified date. 
The selection of clubs for grant-in-aid issued by the department will be done by the district level committee. He also informed that the clubs which have benefited earlier will not be considered and only the clubs which have been deprived of this benefit will be considered for the grant of assistance. On the basis of the work done by the clubs for the development of their villages in the last two years, grants will be issued to them on a priority basis.
