Patiala- Aasra Group of Institutes Bhawanigarh organized various sports competitions on the occasion of National Sports Day in which 2500 players from various schools and colleges of Patiala, Sangrur, Barnala and some other places participated. Principal Ramandeep Kaur of Saini Public School Patiala said that her six students showed their talent in badminton, taekwondo and boxing under the training, practice and guidance of coach Mr. Varinder Singh in the junior group.
The principal said that Somyan and Ruchi won gold medals in badminton, Mayank won gold and Khushi won silver medal in taekwondo, while Gurtej won gold and Yuvraj won silver medal in boxing. Retired training supervisor of Red Cross Kaka Ram Verma visited the school and encouraged the children. Principal Chairman Amarjit Kaur of the school and all the teachers congratulated the students.
