The chief agricultural officer mentioned the points of mixing paddy straw in the soil

Under these initiatives, trials of bio decomposition have been given to district SAS Nagar for digesting 8000 packets (750 grams) of straw. The Chief Agricultural Officer said that one packet (750 gm) of Pusa decomposition powder should be dissolved in 200 liters of water and the mixture should be sprayed on one acre of land with the help of a sprayer and the paddy straw should be mixed with the soil using a rotavator. He informed that the next crop can be planted after 15-20 days of doing this. The Chief Agriculture Officer informed that 5.5 kg of nitrogen, 2-3 kg of phosphorus and 50 kg of potassium elements are added by adding 1 m ton of stubble to the soil.
He said that in villages where machinery is not available, decomposition can be used to mix straw in the field. Farmers are urged that decomposers for digesting straw can be obtained free of charge from the block agriculture offices.
