Moga - District President of Rural Labor Union Manjit Singh Bughipura and District President of Kirti Kisan Union Pargat Singh Safuwala said that the organization was conducting a peaceful protest in Samalsar to take legal action against the miscreants who broke the arm of tempo driver Jagdish Singh alias Bittu Vairoke. Police station chief Dilbagh Singh came out of Samalsar police station and started threatening the protesters.
In which the state leader of rural laborers, Manga Singh Vairoke, tried to arrest the protesters by putting his hands around their necks. Against which an application was filed today against the head of police station Samalsar Dilbagh Singh to the Senior Police Captain of Moga and a meeting was also held with SP Gursharanjit Singh Sandhu, in which he talked about getting justice.
Youth Bharat Sabha leader Karamjit Singh Manuke said that people expect justice from the police, but when the police itself becomes a puppet of politicians, then from whom should the people seek justice. After political pressure, the decision taken by the head of police station Samalsar Dilbagh Singh to try to arrest the public leaders, to pull them by putting hands around their necks, clearly shows that the police is also playing into the hands of the politicians, when justice is not served, people are forced to protest.
Today, the farmer and labour youth organizations demanded the dismissal of police station head Samalsar Dilbagh Singh and demanded to register a case under SC/ST against SHO Samalsar who pushed the labour leader Manga Singh Vairoke to the ground. If the administration does not take appropriate action against the police station head Dilbagh Singh, then a fierce struggle will be carried out by the organizations.
