
Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti celebrated at Saint 108 Narayan Das Blind School
Hoshiarpur - Alliance Club International District-119 celebrated Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti at Sant-108 Narayan Das Blind School, Bahowal in collaboration with Blind and Handicapped Development Society. On this occasion, Ali Ramesh Kumar District Governor, Braille expert Chandrabhan Dubey, Society President Attar Singh and Ali Ashok Puri specially interacted with the visually impaired students.

On this occasion, Vijay Kumar, Avneet Singh, Navpreet Singh, Sukhman, Naresh Bali, Vishal Kumar, Siraj Koundal, Gaurav Kumar, Gobind Kumar, Samar Gautam, Asif Mohammad and Harjot Singh Sangha sang devotional songs. Mahatma Gandhi's song 'Ishwar Allah Tero Naam, Sabko Sanmati De Bhagwan' was a hit with the audience. Society President Attar Singh thanked Alliance Club District Governor Associate Ramesh Kumar for sharing this day of music with visually impaired students.
He said that Sant Narayan Das Blind School is working to provide education to visually impaired students of the area and connect them with professional work. Here, theatre artist Ashok Puri told that his organization Shri Gresa Films is soon going to make a film on Shri Avinash Roy Khanna's story 'Gold Medal Da Daaj'. Which is based on the main character of the story Prakash Kaur, who is blind.
Yogesh, Ritu, Mona, Shobha and Madhuri ji have made a special contribution in running this school. At the end of the program, music students Chandrabhan Dubey and Atar Singh were honored by the Alliance Club.
