
There was a dispute between BDPO and the candidate over NOC

A video of this quickly went viral on social media. After the incident, a case has been registered against four persons on the charge of obstructing official duty.

A video of this quickly went viral on social media. After the incident, a case has been registered against four persons on the charge of obstructing official duty.
BDPO clashed with four people one after the other. According to the incident, when Hardeep Singh of Jalvera village reached the BDPO this afternoon to get the NOC for the Sarpanch election, he was asked to come later. Hardeep Singh told that he has been coming for two days and he is being sent back deliberately, after which an argument started between the two. Matters escalated when the BDPO got angry and allegedly abused Hardeep Singh.
Before any altercation, the police calmed down both sides. As soon as the two calmed down, three other persons also accused the BDPO of deliberately not giving the NOC. Instructions given not to issue NOC without reason - ADC Rural, ADC Rural Anuprita Johal said that a report regarding the incident has been sought from BDPO and instructions have been given not to delay issuance of NOC without reason.
