
655 children were examined under National Child Health Program at KV Saloh
Una, October 1 - Annual medical checkup of all students was done under National Child Health Program in Kendriya Vidyalaya Saloh. In the medical checkup, an eight-member medical team including Dr. Arjun Thakur and Dr. Abhishek conducted health checkup of the school children. School Principal Neelam Guleria said that in this checkup camp, health checkup of total 655 children of the school was done.

In the medical checkup, most of the children were found healthy, some children were found to have decayed teeth and lack of hemoglobin. Such children have been referred to Civil Hospital Haroli or Regional Hospital Una. He advised children to take nutritious food containing protein, vitamins etc. He appealed to parents to give green leafy vegetables and seasonal fruits to their children instead of junk food.
Dr. Nandini, Dr. Shikha Sharma, Dr. Anjula, pharmacist Aarti and Sangeeta and assistant Gurbaksh Kaur along with school staff were present in the health checkup camp.
