Under the 'Swachhata Hi Seva' campaign organized by the Municipal Corporation on foot march

Hoshiarpur - A walking march was organized by the Municipal Corporation Hoshiarpur under Swachhta Hi Seva Campaign 2024. Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal and Assistant Commissioner Sandeep Tiwari specially participated in this important program. The aim of this campaign was to sensitize the citizens of the city about cleanliness and encourage people's participation in building a healthy society.

The aim of this campaign was to sensitize the citizens of the city about cleanliness and encourage people's participation in building a healthy society.
While addressing the Deputy Commissioner, he said that cleanliness is not only a responsibility, but a service, which should be performed with heart. He appealed to the citizens not only to maintain the cleanliness of their surroundings, but also to make other people aware about it. The Assistant Commissioner also highlighted the importance of cleanliness on this occasion and supported the hard work of the Municipal Corporation employees. Apart from the cleanliness campaign, the Municipal Corporation commemorated the ideals and sacrifices of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh by offering floral tributes to him on his birth anniversary.
The speakers said that Bhagat Singh's bravery and courage is a source of inspiration for the youth of the country and we should follow his path and bring positive change in the society. On this occasion, Municipal Corporation Sanitary Inspector Rajesh Sharma, Janak Raj and Sanjeev Kumar, ASM Gorav Sharma and Community Facilitators and Motivators also participated in the program.
