Mandi Gobindgarh, September 28 - On the 117th birth anniversary of martyr Azam Bhagat Singh, Desh Bhagat University paid tribute to his martyrdom. Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University Dr. Zora Singh elaborated on the life and sacrifice of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, who sacrificed his life to liberate Mother India from British rule. He mentioned the bravery of the young revolutionaries while describing the determination of the martyrs and their fellow revolutionaries to work for the goal of a free and independent India. Finally Sudeep Mukherjee, Dr. Kulbhushan, Mr. Naresh Kumar, Mr. Parveen Kumar and other faculty members paid tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh.
