Devigarh (Patiala) September 28 - The Department of Youth Services Patiala has released an amount of Rs. 7000/- per college to 60 Red Ribbon Clubs of the district. This amount was distributed during a special meeting held at State College, Patiala. In this meeting, students of University College Miranpur participated as peer educators. On this occasion, College Principal Dr. Dapinder Kaur welcomed the guests and dignitaries.

He said that the Youth Welfare Department periodically motivates the young students to keep the environment around them clean. On this occasion, Deputy Director Dr. Dilbar Singh informed about the departmental activities and said that the department is running about 60 Red Ribbon Clubs in Patiala district. The sole purpose of these clubs is to bring social prosperity For this purpose, various activities are conducted by the students of the colleges together
On this occasion, Dr Tejinder Pal Singh, Convener of Dharma Study Forum and Nodal Officer of Red Ribbon Club, said that today's meeting was held by the department to run Red Ribbon Clubs in colleges smoothly. In which 2-3 students from each college participated These students were encouraged in the meeting to maintain cleanliness in their colleges, run red ribbon chains, organize various competitions etc.
Along with this, Dr. Singh said that a check of Rs. 7000/- was given to each college by the department so that the colleges can design different programs at their own level. On this occasion, Dr. Tejinder Pal Singh also informed the teachers from the colleges about the various scholarships being given by the Government of India. About 25 colleges attended this meeting.
