SAS Nagar, April 18-The 404th Parkash Purb of Hind Di Chadar Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji Maharaj was celebrated with great devotion at the historic Gurdwara Singh Shaheedan in the nearby village of Sohana. In the joy of Parkash Purb, a religious function was organized all day long after the Bhog of Sri Sehaj Path Sahib Ji in the morning.

In the joy of Parkash Purb, a religious function was organized all day long after the Bhog of Sri Sehaj Path Sahib Ji in the morning.
In this religious function, Bhai Gurdev Singh's International Dhadi Jatha informed the Sangat in detail about the life story of Hind Di Chadar Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji and the unique and unparalleled martyrdom he gave to protect the oppressed.
Bhai Lakhwinder Singh Amritsar's Raagi Jatha made an effort to connect the Sangat with the Guru through their rasa bhire kirtan. Shiromani Pracharak Bhai Jarnail Singh Ludhianawale informed the Sangat about the 59 Shabads and 57 Shloks in 15 Ragas of Dhur Ki Bani recited by Guru Sahib which are enshrined in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj.
Apart from this, the Jathas of Dharam Singh Patialawale, Bhai Harbhajan Singh, Bhai Gurvinder Singh, Bhai Sarabjot Singh, Bhai Dilbar Singh, Bhai Manpreet Singh, Shere Punjab Kavishri Jatha, Baba Deep Singh Kavishri Jatha, Harjas Kirtani Jatha, Bhai Sukhwinder Singh, besides the Jathas of Gurdwara Singh Shaheedan Bhai Inderjit Singh, Bhai Jaswant Singh, Bhai Gurmeet Singh and Bhai Gurmeet Singh enthralled the devotees by reciting Har Jas throughout the day through Katha, Kirtan, Kavishri and Gurmat Ichchaar. All the Jathas were honored with Siropas. Guru ka Langar was served in abundance on this occasion.
A spokesperson for the Gu: Singh Shaheedan Management Committee said that keeping in mind the martyrdom day of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji Maharaj, the women of Sukhmani Sewa Society will perform two readings of Sri Sukhmani Sahib Ji in congregation every day for 40 days from April 21.
