Hoshiarpur- Today, on the occasion of Mohammad Rafi's 100th birthday, a wonderful program was organized at the local Fine Dining Hotel with the efforts of Dr. Harjinder Singh Oberoi and Eli Ashok Puri. Playback singer Kumar Vinod and director Ashok Khurana were specially present on this occasion. The project chairman of this program was District Governor Eli Ramesh Kumar and former District Governor Eli Pushpinder Sharma.
Remembering the music world star Mohammad Rafi, director Ashok Khurana said that he made the name of Punjab and Punjabi culture famous all over the world. On this occasion, Dr. Harjinder Singh Oberoi said that keeping in mind the martyrdom week of Sahibzadas, the group of fans of Mohammad Rafi felt that a musical evening would be organized in his memory on 19 January 2025.
In today's program, playback singer Kumar Vinod made his presence felt with "Mohammad Rafi Tu Bahut Yaad Aaya". In this program organized by Alliance Club International District 119, Dr. Harjinder Singh Oberoi, Kumar Vinod, Ashok Khurana and Ashok Puri were honored with Siropas. 
On this occasion, it was also decided that Dr. Harjinder Singh Oberoi, patron and director Ashok Puri will organize a musical program being organized by Bahu Rang Kala Manch on January 19 along with other musical institutions of the city.
