Mumbai, September 16 - Youth Congress activists staged a protest outside the SEBI office here and demanded the resignation of SEBI Chairperson Madhabhi Puri, demanding an inquiry into the allegations leveled against her. Meanwhile, the police detained the Congress workers and registered a case under various sections. Earlier, the Congress workers demanded the resignation of the chairperson citing the report of the US short seller Hindenburg Research. He said that this matter should be investigated.
