Garhshankar, September 4 - Technical Services Union State Committee and Powercom Contract Employees Union Punjab jointly issued a demand letter in the name of Chief Minister Punjab through SDM Garhshankar. Through which the common front of the two organizations running in Chandigarh was supported and demanded that Powercom's letter threatening to impose ESMA to crush the struggle of electricity employees should be cancelled. The agreements made with private thermals should be cancelled. The Electricity Act 2003 and 2020 should be cancelled. The old pension scheme should be restored for all employees by canceling the new pension scheme. Wages of workers should be fixed through fixed wage system based on minimum subsistence. Recruitment should be done immediately on vacant posts in all government institutions. All the contract employees should be confirmed immediately without any conditions. Balance of scales and balance of dearness allowance to all employees and pensioners should be released immediately.
