Provincial President Arora Mahasabha Kamaljit Setia was specially present on this occasion During the meeting, Mr. Sanjiv Arora proposed the name of Mr. Ramesh Arora for the post of President, which was supported by Ravi Manocha and all the members unanimously assigned the responsibility of the post of President by putting a seal of approval on his name. Also decided to make him the district head and executive. On this occasion, he appointed Rajiv Manchanda as the city president.
On this occasion, Kamaljit Setia, giving information about the work being done at the state level, said that the Arora community, which is the base of 1200 sub-castes, is a symbol of Hindu-Sikh unity. Punjab currently has more than 20 percent of the Arora community and 95 percent came to India as refugees after partition. Being on the border of Punjab, most of the people settled in all the districts here.
On this occasion, General Secretary Sanjeev Arora Pradhan and Ravi Manocha informed the newly appointed members about the proposals made last year and said that the people of Arora society are Khatris; Descendant of Shri Ram Ji and was born in Sindh province. The city can be made pollution free.
Along with this, people will also be made aware about not using single use plastic and will also be told about its negative effects and soon cloth bags will also be distributed in the city. Mr. Arora said that Arora Mahasabha always helps all the needy by keeping away from caste and this help will continue in the future as well.
