Awareness camp organized in Anganwadi Center Tabba-2 under Mission Shakti Scheme

Una, July 26- The Social Justice and Empowerment Department organized a 100-day special awareness camp under Mission Shakti Yojana at Anganwadi Center Tabba-2 Circle Rakkad under Integrated Child Development Project Una. District Program Officer (ICDS) Narender Kumar attended the camp as the chief guest and the camp was presided over by Child Development Project Officer Kuldeep Singh Dayal.

Una, July 26- The Social Justice and Empowerment Department organized a 100-day special awareness camp under Mission Shakti Yojana at Anganwadi Center Tabba-2 Circle Rakkad under Integrated Child Development Project Una. District Program Officer (ICDS) Narender Kumar attended the camp as the chief guest and the camp was presided over by Child Development Project Officer Kuldeep Singh Dayal.
District Program Officer Narender Kumar, while making the women aware about financial literacy, said that nowadays there is a lot of online fraud happening, hence never share any information related to your bank account with anyone and also made them aware about the schemes of his department.
Child Development Project Officer Kuldeep Singh Dayal said that under the Mission Shakti scheme being run by the Women and Child Development Department, special awareness camps are being organized for 100 days. He said that the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana is a maternity benefit scheme given by the central government under which financial help is given to women to meet the needs related to maternal and child health. Under this scheme, mothers are given a help of Rs 5,000 for the first living child and an incentive of Rs 6000 is provided after the birth of the second child (only daughter).
In the camp, information was given about the schemes being run under Mission Shakti. Mission Shakti is divided into two parts, Shakti and Sambal. Shakti includes Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, Palna, Shakti Sadan, Working Women Hostel to empower women. Apart from this, Sambal includes One Stop Center, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Nari Adalat, Women Helpline. In this camp, plantation was also done under “Ek Boota Maa Ke Naam” so that people can be made aware about environmental protection.
On this occasion, supervisor Asha Devi, Anganwadi worker Jeevan Lata, Vijay Kumari, Poonam Rani, Asha Devi, Ranju, Kanchan, Ramkali, Suman Lata, Anganwadi assistant Parveen Kumari, Saroj Rani and beneficiaries were present.
