Mohali 24 July - Musical Amrit Varsha of Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran Katha is being organized from 20th July to 26th July at Shri Shiv Mandir, near Selvi Hospital, Mohali, Phase-9, Mohali. On the fifth day, the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna was celebrated with great pomp and show and a huge crowd of devotees gathered to have darshan of the child form of Lord Krishna and the devotees were seen dancing till late evening on various bhajans related to the life of Lord Krishna. On this occasion, Harshinder Sharma, Harish Goyal, Harish Goyal, BJP Mandal President Madan Goyal, Sanjeev Joshi, Rakhi Pathak, Raman Shaili, Mandal President Meena Dhir, BJP Yuva Morcha Mohali President Tahil Sharma, Abhishek Thakur General Secretary, Karan Sharma, besides the current office bearers of Shri Shiv Mandir Phase-9 Mohali, including Chairman Ramesh Verma, President Sanjeev Kumar, General Secretary Arvind Thakur and Treasurer Raman Sharma and the entire team of Mahila Sankirtan Mandal, along with a large number of devotees, attended the program as guests. During this, the officials of the temple committee honored the dignitaries who came to the program by putting Siropas on them and the dignitaries bowed down and took blessings from Katha Vyas. Ramesh Verma, the current chairman of the temple committee, with team informed that the musical Amrit Varsha of Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran Katha is being organized in the temple every day from 4 to 7 pm. In which a huge crowd of devotees is gathering every day and the devotees are listening to Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Puran with devotion. Before the conclusion of Ramesh Verma's Katha, Maha Aarti is being organized daily and after that, Prasad distribution and unbroken bhandaar are being organized for the devotees.
