Hoshiarpur- Blood Donors and Welfare Society Dasuha successfully organised its 8th Annual Award Ceremony and 160th Mega Blood Donation Camp at President Palace, Pathankot-Jalandhar Road, Dasuha on Sunday which was attended by people dedicated to individual and social welfare.

MLA Karamveer Singh Ghuman was the Chief Guest on the occasion while Mr Mukesh Ranjan, Managing Director, MRC Pvt Ltd was present as the Special Guest. The event was organised smoothly by Parminder Singh Bablu and his team which included Baljinder Singh Lali, Billa Arora (Chairman) and Mandeep Singh Dhindsa.
Prominent personalities present as special guests on the occasion included renowned journalist Sanjeev Kumar, Hotel King Managing Director Vishal Khosla, Youth President Shri Bhrigu Brahmin Mahasabha Punjab Pandit Pawan Sharma, Managing Director Vijay Sharma Vijay Mall Dasuha, Pinku Tuli of Factory Rotary Club Dasuha, President Rotary Club Dasuha Vikas Khullar.
The main objective of the event was to honour the blood donors and social workers who have contributed significantly in this noble cause of saving lives through blood donation. Huge enthusiasm was seen among the people in the blood donation camp, which further highlighted the importance of voluntary blood donation.
On this occasion, MLA Karamveer Singh Ghumman appreciated the hard work being done by the Blood Donors and Welfare Society Dasuha for social and humanitarian service. Shri Mukesh Ranjan also highly appreciated the efforts being made by the organization in the field of social welfare and health.
The organizers thanked all the blood donors, guests and volunteers and reiterated their commitment to promote blood donation awareness. He appealed to the younger generation to participate more actively in this responsibility of blood donation. This annual event once again proves that collective efforts can bring about positive change in society.
