Balongi, March 15- Yesterday, on Holi day, at around 1 pm, a group of minor boys stabbed Akash, son of Rajinder (age 17), a resident of Balongi, to death. According to the information received, these boys had a fight with Akash 2 days ago, due to which they carried out the murder of Akash on the occasion of Holi festival.
Although the Balongi police had also set up a blockade keeping in mind the Holi festival, the attackers did not care about this either. The attackers stabbed Akash on the back near the Balongi water tank.
After being stabbed, the injured Akash ran to the road to save his life, but after going a little distance, he fell on the ground and died on the spot. Akash, who fell on the road, was taken to the Civil Hospital in Mohali by his family, where the doctor on duty declared him dead.
When contacted, SHO of Balongi police station Amandeep Kamboj said that a case has been registered against those who attacked and killed this youth named Akash. He said that 5 boys have been arrested in this case, who are minors. He said that there was a fight between these boys 2 days ago, on which these boys carried out this incident on the day of Holi. He said that the investigation is still ongoing and there is a possibility of more boys being involved.
