Patiala, June 26 - The police of Tripari police station have arrested a couple (husband and wife) who used to rob people on deserted streets at night on the pretext of getting a lift. The team of Tripari police station has arrested both of them on the complaint of Gurpreet Singh, a resident of Khalsa Nagar, Bharatpur Road. Both the accused have been identified as Paramjit Kaur and her husband Jatinder Singh, residents of Vikas Nagar, Patiala.

Another female accomplice in this crime is absconding. Gurpreet Singh, who works as an electrician and the victim, said that he was often late while commuting. And on the evening of June 24, he saw a woman alone on Avtar Dharma Kanda Sharan Road Who stopped him by giving him a hand. This woman said that she is unable to walk, so help her and leave her in village Shimla. Gurpreet Singh said that he felt pity So he left the house by putting the woman on the motorcycle. The woman said that it is very hot, come inside and drink water. As soon as he went inside to drink water, a man pushed him inside with a knife.
Another woman was also with this person. This person made a video by removing his shirt with a knife and took out 5 thousand rupees from his purse by threatening to make it viral. He was thrown out of the house by threatening to make the video viral if he told anyone. SHO of Tripari police station Pradeep Singh said that the accused couple has been arrested while their absconding female companion will also be arrested soon.
