Hoshiarpur - On the occasion of World Blood Day and Sangraad today, all the students of Red Cross School of Vocational Learning and the staff of Red Cross office installed cold-sweet water outside the Red Cross office in view of the heat. Meanwhile, all the staff and students served water for the passers-by.
 Giving this information, Mangesh Sood, Secretary of the District Red Cross Society, said that under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner-cum-President District Red Cross Society Komal Mittal, the students in the 'Red Cross School of Vocational Learning' are taught computer, tele and accounting, beauty and wellness, Courses like fashion designing and type and shorthand are conducted.
He said that the District Red Cross Society is always ready to serve humanity and social service is done by it from time to time through various schemes/approaches. Meanwhile, in one of his messages, Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal appealed to the citizens to donate more blood and contribute to various schemes being run by the Red Cross for social welfare.
