He said that it is an initiative of the Punjab government to give free yoga classes to the citizens of the state. Under this plan, a team of certified yoga teachers has been established in Punjab, so that yoga can be brought to the doorsteps and it can be converted into a mass movement by providing yoga teachers to the public.

He said that in addition to 117 yoga classes in Hoshiarpur city, about 250 yoga classes are being held in Dasuha, Mukerian, Tanda, Hajipur, Talwara, Bhunga, Haryana, Chabewal, Mahilpur and Garhshankar in parks, Gurdwara Sahib and temples in the district. are It aims to highlight the importance of meditation and yoga in improving the physical and mental health of citizens. As an ancient practice, yoga has proven to be an effective means of improving one's quality of life. Through daily practice one can develop concentration and establish greater harmony with one's environment.
He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, this scheme was started in the state in the month of April last year, under which different districts of the state have been covered in different phases. The Deputy Commissioner said that through CM's Yogashala, free yoga classes are being arranged for people at their chosen places like parks, public places. He said that in Adarsh ??Nagar Children's Park New Civil Line Hoshiarpur, group leader Ravinder Kaur and instructor Poornima conduct yoga classes daily from 5:30 am to 6:30 am.

Yoga supervisor Madhvi Singh said that if a person has a yoga class available and there is a group of at least 25 people, the Punjab government will send a yoga trade instructor home.
