Mahilpur June 13 - Mahasati Prabandhak Committee, Naujwan Sabha, group of town dwellers, Gram Panchayat Mugowal and NRI Veeran with the support of all the Sangats are organizing a four day annual fair dedicated to Baba Devi Dayal alias Nanga Bawa and Bawa Gyanpuri ji belonging to Sangha got. Like every year, today a grand procession was taken out from the temple Mahasati Dadi Rani.
This procession circumambulates the entire village and ends back at Mahasati Dadi Rani temple. Various types of food and drink langars were organized by the devotees. On this occasion, committee president Balveer Singh Sangha, Joga Singh, Hardeep Singh, Raghveer Singh, Lambardar Mahender Singh, Gurjeet Singh Jeeti, Daljeet Singh Jeeta, Balwinder Singh Sarabjit Singh, Master Surinder Kumar Shanky, Madan Singh, Lakhwinder Singh and other village members were present in large numbers. On this occasion, committee president Balveer Singh Sangha and Joga Singh jointly told that keeping the annual fair in mind, Shri Ramayan and Akhand Paath Sahib were started on 11th June. On 11th June itself, the winners of the halt race were given great prizes. On 12th June, after the Bhog of Ramayan Paath, Kanshi Nath Musical Group sang praises of Mata Ji. On 13th June, after the Bhog of Shri Akhand Paath Sahib, the Dhaadi group of Gyani Tarsem Singh Moranwali connected the devotees to Gurucharan. A grand Shobha Yatra was organized in the evening.
He told that in this Shobha Yatra, Gopi Roorkee sang praises of Mahamai while circumambulating the village. He told that on 14th June, religious and cultural programs will be presented. In which famous singers Deep Dhillon, Jasmine Jassi and Harf Cheema will present religious and cultural programs. In this religious event going on for four days, people of the village and the region are participating in large numbers and paying homage to Mahasati Dadi Rani Ji. Akhand langars of Mata are going on.
