Nawanshahr - By the grace of God, Guru Nanak Mission Service Society is trying to provide services for the welfare of all in various fields of religious and social service. In the field of education and sports, like last year, this year also the society has decided to honour the meritorious students of class 8th, 10th and 12th and the players who have come at the state level in sports to encourage the children and strengthen the spirit of reaching higher positions by studying. Sharing the information about this decision of the society, Chief Sevadar Surjit Singh said that today there is a competition among the youth of Punjab to go abroad in search of employment by passing IELTS. Due to which the tendency of getting higher education among children is decreasing. This is the reason that today the number of Punjabi children in civil services and other high positions is negligible. He said that going abroad for employment is not a bad thing, but today many children who have gone abroad are going through a very bad situation due to not getting work. Therefore, social service organizations will have to hold the hands of the children until they get higher education and employment by staying in the country.
Guru Nanak Mission Service Society is continuously making efforts in this direction and for this purpose the society is already running a free coaching center for the preparation of government job examination.
He told that in this regard, a special felicitation ceremony is being organized on Wednesday, June 12 at Hotel Kings Regency Nawanshahr to honor the children, in which excellent children from all over the district will participate. On this occasion, Dr. Hanwant Singh MA PhD (Anchor and Producer PTC Network) and Chief Patron of the Society Gyani Sarabjit Singh Ludhiana are specially arriving to guide the children.
On this occasion, Balwant Singh Soita, Tarlochan Singh Khatkar Kalan, Jagdeep Singh, Kuljit Singh Khalsa, Jaswinder Singh Saini, Gyan Singh, Mahinder Singh Jafarpur, Parminder Singh were present with him.
