People are taking full advantage of these yoga classes and are freeing themselves from diseases and stress. The enthusiasm and number of people in these camps is increasing day by day. People doing yoga say that by getting up early in the morning and doing yoga, they feel refreshed throughout the day and now they have made yoga asanas a part of their life.
Giving more information in this regard, SDM Kharar Divya P informed that CM Yogashala classes are being organized at different places in Kurali, which are proving to be a boon for the health of the people. A large number of district residents are benefiting from these yoga classes. 6 yoga sessions are being conducted from morning to evening by expert yoga instructors. These sessions have different timings. Yoga instructor Manpreet Kaur told that she conducts 6 yoga classes daily in Kurali.
She conducts her first class at Swami Ji Park Ward No. 6 Model Town, Kurali from 5.00 am to 6.00 am, second class at Rajput Dharmshala near Shiv Mandir Ward No. 4 from 6.10 am to 7.10 am, third class at Gali No. 4 Model Town Ward No. 6 from 11.00 am to 12.00 pm, fourth class at Committee Hall near Guggamaadi Ward No. 5 from 3.45 pm to 4.45 pm, fifth and sixth class at Bada Mandir Model Town Ward No. 6 from 4.55 pm to 5.55 pm and from 6.00 pm to 7.00 pm.
Yoga teachers are making their valuable contribution in keeping the body healthy and disease free without medicine through various yoga postures like asanas, pranayama and meditation etc. Trainer Manpreet Kaur told that many participants who practice yoga regularly with her have got relief from many diseases like knee pain, diabetes, high blood pressure, mental stress etc. by practicing yoga daily.
She told that currently about 132 participants are taking yoga classes every day. Anyone can come to these classes and take advantage of free yoga. She told that if a person wants to start a class in his colony or park, then there should be at least 25 members and he can call/message on the WhatsApp number to start his new class/session.
People are voluntarily participating in these sessions. Apart from the website cmdiyogshala.punjab.gov.in, those who have not yet joined can register themselves by contacting the dedicated helpline number 76694-00500.
