Una, 18 May- People are being made aware and motivated to exercise their franchise in elections by organizing various activities through the SVEEP program in Una district. In this series, under the SVEEP program, 'Run for Democracy' marathon will be organized in sub-division Bangana on Monday, May 20 at 8 am with the awareness message 'Vote Karega Kutlahar'. This marathon will start from Bangana taxi stand and end at Hatli Chowk. The objective of the marathon is to motivate all voters, including youth, for active participation in elections so that 100 percent voting is ensured in the elections.
Election Officer SDM Bangana Sonu Goyal said that all persons above 18 years of age can participate in the marathon. The winners coming first, second and third in the marathon will be honored with medals, mementos and sweep shirts.
