
District Election Officer conducted surprise inspection of monitoring posts
Una, 18 May- To effectively implement the model code of conduct in Una district during the elections, District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal conducted surprise inspection of various checkpoints in the district on Saturday. During this, he took stock of the working system of SST and flying teams. The Deputy Commissioner inspected the teams deployed at the checkpoints at Ajoli Mod and Santoshgarh and instructed the officers and employees posted there to work with full promptness.

During this, he took stock of the working system of SST and flying teams. The Deputy Commissioner inspected the teams deployed at the checkpoints at Ajoli Mod and Santoshgarh and instructed the officers and employees posted there to work with full promptness. He said that they should do their work with full responsibility. Immediately check any suspicious vehicle and report unauthorized cash, liquor and weapons to the relevant authorities. SST and flying teams have an important role in conducting fair and peaceful elections.
Jatin Lal said that to prevent any kind of illegal activities in view of the elections in the district, 3-3 flying squads and static surveillance teams, one video surveillance team and 1-1 video observation team, assistant expenditure observer teams have been deployed in every assembly constituency. And accounting teams have been formed. He said that due to the elections, 25 interstate and 121 intrastate roadblocks have been set up. The checkpoints are being monitored with full alertness. The movement of vehicles is being closely monitored. Every activity is under surveillance. The administration is committed to free, fair and peaceful elections.
Apart from this, Jatin Lal said that after the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct, during checking in the district, flying squads and static teams have recovered and seized drugs, liquor, cash and other things worth more than Rs 3.27 crore.
