Nawanshahr - Today the employees of the canal department arrived at Majari village to give a message to save water. Among them, Harnek Singh, district head of the department, said that efforts are being made on a large scale by the Punjab government for water conservation.
He appealed to the villagers to make collective efforts for water conservation. On this occasion, Patwari Suresh Kumar, Patwari Mehr Chand, Patwari Sham Singh also shared information about the importance of water and shared tips for its protection. Congratulatory letters were also presented to them by water conservator Surjit Majari and village numberdar Gurjit Singh thanked everyone.
