Nabha/Mandi Gobindgarh, May 8 - Desh Bhagat University organized the G20 School Connect Leadership Conference Awards at Nabha today. In this program, DBU honored the Principals of Nabha Circle with mementos and certificates for their outstanding achievements.
Earlier in the press conference held here, DBU Vice President Dr. Harsh Sadavarti gave detailed information about the new education policy implemented by Prime Minister Modi. The role of technology in schools is important. Now students are working on new ways of learning. He said that DBU is committed to the placement of students In view of this, many job fairs are being organized these days In which reputed brands of the country are participating and providing job opportunities. Parents have also become serious by seeing the students' dedication towards studies, this will reduce their tendency to go out. Pan India, DBU has over ten thousand students, out of which around 700 students are from 25 countries. Universities are providing various types of scholarships like Shakti Scholarship, Needy Scholarship, Single Girl Child etc. More than 200 courses are being offered.
All the principals participated in the panel discussion at the G-20 event. The panel discussion covered various important topics. On this occasion Principal Harkanwal Jeet Kaur, Poonam Rani, Parvinder Sharma, Sharanpreet Kaur, Sumira Sharma, Harjasbir Singh, Ashwani Madan, Amit Garg, Gurdeep Singh, Harinderjit Singh, Khushpinder Kaur Khera, Shailendra Sharma, Sandeep Kumar, Sangita Jakhmi, Sukhwinder Singh, Eminent personalities like Dr. Kavita Kapoor, Bilson Sharma, Gurpreet Kaur, Dilbar Khan, Inderpreet Singh, Sanjay Thakur, Anu Batish, Anil Kumar and Prabal Pratap Sehgal were honored for their unique contribution.
