He said that the state government is making necessary arrangements in the field of education to provide better education to the students in schools. Along with better education system, sports and other activities are also being promoted for the proper development of students.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that Government Senior Secondary School, Saloh, is the focal point of the Haroli Assembly constituency, which has its own importance and attraction. He said that continuous efforts are being made for the all-round development of the school. At present about 400 children are studying in the school for which adequate teachers have been appointed. He appealed to the teachers and said that there should be qualitative improvement in the education of the students. Mukesh Agnihotri said that Ravmapa Saloh is the first such school in the state where digital classes have been started.
Mukesh Agnihotri said that Haroli Vis area has continuously undergone revolutionary changes in the last 20 years. Presently Haroli Vis area has become a hub of education. He said that at present children are receiving education at their doorsteps through 33 Ravma schools. The construction work of Haroli College is going on at a fast pace. The construction work of Kendriya Vidyalaya Saloh is in the final stage while the building of ITI Pandoga is ready. The Deputy Chief Minister said that Law and Nursing College is being run in Himcaps College, Badhera. The students coming out of the college are providing their services in various prestigious institutions of the country. He said that soon the skill development center located at Palakwah will be operated by Triple IT Saloh. He said that a grand auditorium has also been built in Palakwah on the lines of Chandigarh equipped with modern technology.
The Deputy CM called upon the teachers to rise above party politics and play their role in shaping the future of children. He called upon all the principals to take necessary steps to make the schools beautiful and attractive. Along with this, he specially designated a teacher in every school to deal with drug-like activities so that the coming generation can be saved from drugs. Apart from this, the parents present at the function were also urged to provide full cooperation in dealing with the social evil like drug addiction. He said that due to the anti-drug campaign being run by the state government, there has been a lot of improvement in drug prevention.
He said that he called upon the teachers to make the children who have completed 18 years of age aware about making the learning license so that they can make the license online. He said that in future, various competitions will be organized among all the schools established in Haroli Vis area, for which he instructed each school to prepare two cultural presentations. He said that such events will not only promote local culture but will also create a sense of competition among the children. He said that children who excel in various activities will also be rewarded.
Mukesh Agnihotri said that meaningful efforts have been made by the teachers to hone the talents of the school children, the result of which was seen in the annual prize distribution ceremony. He also urged the parents to be present in the annual prize distribution ceremony to be organized in future so that they can get an opportunity to see the talent of their children.
Colorful programs were presented by school children in the function. He also announced a donation of Rs 31 thousand to promote cultural activities. Apart from this, he honored the school children who performed excellently in annual activities by giving them awards.
On this occasion, School Principal Ripu Jeet Singh read the report of achievements made throughout the year in the fields of education, culture, sports, NSS and NCC.
