Our Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has been hailing "Developed India" with great enthusiasm and enthusiasm.
There is no doubt that after independence the country has developed rapidly in every field. But when it comes to natural calamities and accidents due to human negligence, and arrangements to deal with them, then this slogan starts to seem meaningless. Every year, our country has to face storms and other natural calamities. Every time the arrangements made in advance during these calamities prove insufficient and the result is the loss of hundreds of precious lives.

If we talk about the loss of life and property due to human negligence, then perhaps our country comes in the front row in this regard. Major train accidents are often the result of human error. These human neglects cause irreparable losses to many families.
My main aim is to draw the attention of my readers to a very sad incident that happened near Hathras city of Uttar Pradesh. According to reports, 121 people, mostly women and children, have lost their lives in this stampede. Over 100 people were killed in an uncontrollable crowd to take dust at the feet of Baba Narayan Sarkar Hari after a satsang held in Sikandsurao area of this district. I do not question anyone's religious beliefs, but how ridiculous it seems in today's scientific age that a common man is playing with his life and the lives of others to get the dust of another common man's feet. Baba Narayan Sarkar Hari, also known as Bhole Baba among his devotees, before becoming a Baba, worked in the Intelligence Department of the Uttar Pradesh Police. Later he quit his job and became a storyteller. Today its followers number in lakhs in Uttar Pradesh and adjoining states. The extreme heat, humidity, overcrowding of people and insufficient arrangements on the part of the organizers are causing this heart-wrenching accident. But the biggest reason is our illiteracy and blind faith. If we talk about such accidents that happened after independence, on February 3, 1954, around 800 people died in a stampede during the Kumbh Mela at Prayagraj. Similarly, in November 1994, 114 people died in a stampede at Nagpur. In January 1999, 53 people lost their lives due to uncontrollable suffering at the Sabarimala temple in Kerala. On October 13, 2013, 115 people were killed in a stampede over the Ratnagarh Sala temple and bridge in Madhya Pradesh's Dattia district during the Hindu festival Navratri. Many such accidents have happened in the past decades. But after every tragedy, TV On the screen, we can see the crying families and we can hear the statements of the politicians about some compensation and compensation and strict action against some responsible people. While we hold the government machinery responsible for not taking the necessary arrangements and due precautions, we also have to consider our own impatience and sheepish habits. Where the world has reached today, we are still entangled in the magic trap of witchcraft, magic water and sages. It is time that we understand the value of our time and life. Our pains and sufferings will be solved with our hard work, confidence, scientific thinking and devotion to that eternal God.
