The Punjabi entertainment industry has suffered an irreparable loss today. Our beloved comedian, Dr. Jaswinder Bhalla ji, passed away today at the age of 65. Jaswinder Bhalla, a very important character in Punjabi films, made a place in the hearts of audiences in India and abroad for playing all kinds of characters in his unique and unique style. He achieved a unique position with dedication and hard work.
He brought fame to Punjabi culture and Punjabi mother tongue all over the world. Even though his educational qualification was in Agriculture Science in English medium, when he played Punjabi rustic characters, he brought life to them. His dialogues, whether in Punjabi films, or 'Chhankata', or his live stage shows, seemed as if it was his natural speech.
His dialogues did not seem to be written by anyone. His language, idioms and examples in each character won everyone's heart. Punjabi film audiences used to look for Jaswinder Bhalla ji in every new release. Truly, this is an irreparable loss for the Punjabi mother tongue.
