NFL Dussehra Committee organized Dussehra with great enthusiasm and devotion. On this occasion, tableaux related to the life of Lord Shri Ram were brought out, which captivated the audience.
Honorable Chief General Manager Shri Tarun Kumar Batra attended the function as the chief guest. Along with him, Mrs. Sandhya Batra, Pushpa Kumar and Deputy Commandant Parbir Kaur were also specially present.
With the concurrence of Dussehra Committee President Shri Kamal Arora and Vice President Shri Murali Manohar Sharma, the entire program was successfully executed.
The center of the most attraction was the moment when the effigy of Ravana was burnt and the ground echoed with the slogans of “Victory of good over evil”.
NFL People from surrounding villages also participated in the festival along with the local residents. Children thoroughly enjoyed the fair, tasted food and bought toys.
The entire event became a symbol of happiness, unity and cultural pride.
