SAS Nagar, September 23 – Mohali Municipal Corporation Mayor Amarjit Singh Jeeti Sidhu inaugurated the unfinished development works in Phase-6. These works include the work of curved channels and road lanes. Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Amarjit Singh Jeeti Sidhu said that he himself has been living in this area of ??Mohali for the first time.
He said that although the area is small, it can be made beautiful and modern. He said that there are many unfinished works left which will be completed soon. He said that special emphasis has been laid on creating a smooth water drainage system and doing clean work.
He said that the issue of these works was raised by ward councilor Gurpreet Kaur, after which the corporation has started development works worth Rs. 17 lakh. He said that complaints have also been lodged by the local people about some mischievous elements who harass senior citizens and obstruct development works.
The Mayor assured that such elements will be opposed and the pace of development will continue. He said that development will be brought to every corner of Phase-6 and no one will be allowed to feel that there is a lack of development here. Social worker Lakhbir Singh was also present on this occasion.
