
Pensioners Federation Punjab donates one day's salary for flood victims, appeals to the government to fulfill pending demands soon.
Patiala:- Pensioners Welfare Federation Punjab (Pehalwan) Reg: Power Corporation and Transmission Corporation State Working Committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of State President Baba Amarjit Singh at the organization's head office P-3, 66 KV Grid Colony Patiala. In this, in the last few days, due to the destruction of crops and death of livestock in Punjab, the people have suffered a huge loss.

In this, in the last few days, due to the destruction of crops and death of livestock in Punjab, the people have suffered a huge loss.
In order to help the flood-affected families, the organization unanimously decided that all the members of the organization will deduct one day's salary for the flood victims and donate it to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. Apart from this, if any member wants to help in any way, he can also do so.
While releasing the information of the meeting to the press, Mr. B. Sekhon General Secretary said that a strong demand was made from the Punjab Government and the management of the Punjab State Electricity Corporation that circulars should be issued as soon as possible in accordance with the agreements reached with the Punjab Government and the management of the Punjab Electricity Corporation regarding the demands of the electricity employees. It was also demanded that the 13 percent arrears of Punjab employees, dearness allowance installments, should be released as soon as possible.
The juristic tax being deducted from the pension of the pensioner at the rate of Rs. 200 per month should be stopped immediately. Mr. Amarjit Singh Baba, B. Sekhon, Rajinder Thakur, Lakhvir Singh, Shivdev Singh, Balwinder Singh Pasiana, Balwinder Singh Mukeria, Palwinder Singh, Ram Saran Prashar, Ranjit Singh Talwandi, Prithipal Singh Khanna, Jagdev Singh Mann Bathinda, Jagdish Ram Rampura, etc. were present in the meeting.
